What it does:

• What plantain brings to your dog's skin: broadleaf plantain, listed here as Plantago major, grows wild along paths and field edges, and folk tradition has long reached for it when something stung, bit or rubbed the skin the wrong way
• For flea bites and bug bites that keep your pet scratching: a bite carries on itching for hours, and the more a dog scratches the more the skin reacts, so the balm calms the bite area and helps take the urgency out of the itch
• For irritated patches after a walk through the grass: long grass, brambles or contact with something the skin does not like can leave a patch red and reactive, and a small amount calms the irritation and supports the skin as it returns to its usual state
• Free from tea tree, with no fragrance to put your pet off: tea tree turns up in many human skin products but does not belong on a dog, so the balm leaves it out and adds no fragrance
