What does Patchouli Essential oil help with?

Patchouli ( Pogostemon cablin ) is an aromatic herb with fleshy leaves that grows in tropical climates. In skin and hair care, patchouli is valued for its soothing, regenerating and antiseptic properties.

Patchouli Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the leaves of the plant and can be used as a:

• Oil for dry or mature skin - Nourishes and hydrates deeply, helping to restore the skin barrier;
• Anti-wrinkle and fine line serum - Stimulates cell renewal and improves skin elasticity;
• Oil for skin with acne or inflammation - Has an antiseptic and soothing effect that reduces redness and subcutaneous pimples;
• Anti-dandruff scalp mask - Regulates sebum secretion and suppresses fungi that cause flaking and itching;
• Hair growth stimulant - Improves blood circulation in the scalp and strengthens hair follicles.

How do i use Patchouli Essential oil?

1. As an oil for dry or mature skin

1. Mix 1 drop of patchouli essential oil with 1 tsp. carrier oil ( e.g. jojoba or argan );
2. Cleanse your face thoroughly;
3. Apply in the evening with light massage movements.

2. As a serum against wrinkles and fine lines

1. Add 2 drops of patchouli oil to 10 ml of rosehip oil;
2. Shake the mixture well;
3. Apply in the evening around the eyes and lips with gentle patting.

3. As an oil for skin with acne or inflammation

1. In 50 ml of lavender or chamomile hydrosol, add 3 drops of patchouli essential oil;
2. Shake before use;
3. Use as a tonic - apply with a cotton pad in the morning and evening.

4. As an anti-dandruff scalp mask

1. Mix 2 drops of patchouli oil with 1 tbsp. coconut oil;
2. Apply the mixture to your scalp, massaging gently;
3. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash thoroughly with shampoo.

5. As a hair growth stimulant

1. Add 5 drops of patchouli essential oil to 100 ml of natural shampoo;
2. Shake well to mix evenly;
3. Use every time you wash your hair, massaging your scalp.
