What does Thyme Linalool Essential oil help with?

Thyme Linalool ( Thymus vulgaris ct. linalool ) is an aromatic herb with small leaves that grows in sunny, dry areas.

Unlike stronger thyme species, this chemotype contains mainly linalool, a compound with a milder effect on the skin and a delicate, slightly floral aroma. This is what makes it preferred for sensitive skin and in cosmetic formulas.

Thyme Linalool Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the fresh flowers and leaves of the plant and can be used as a:

  • Soothing oil for sensitive or irritated skin - Suitable for redness, rashes and mild acne;
  • Serum for scalp restoration and dandruff - The oil helps balance the scalp microbiome while soothing itching;
  • Additive to creams or masks for skin prone to inflammation - Thanks to its antiseptic properties, the oil helps with acne and irritations without drying out the skin.
