What does Vetiver Essential oil help with?

Vetiver ( Chrysopogon zizanioides ) is a tropical herbaceous plant with deep roots from which a valuable essential oil is extracted. It is used in traditional herbal care for its soothing, balancing and regenerating properties on the skin.

Vetiver Essential oil can be used as a:

• Serum for dry or mature skin - Vetiver nourishes deeply and helps restore the skin barrier;
• Massage oil for muscle pain and tension - Vetiver has a warming and relaxing effect on the muscles;
• Oil for better sleep - Has a calming effect on the nervous system and promotes deep sleep.

How do i use Vetiver Essential oil?

1. As a serum for dry or mature skin

1. Mix 1 drop of vetiver essential oil with 1 tsp jojoba or sweet almond oil;
2. Stir well;
3. Apply in the evening to a cleansed face with light massage movements.

2. As a massage oil for muscle pain and tension

1. Mix 4 drops of vetiver with 2 tablespoons of sesame or arnica oil;
2. Warm slightly between your palms;
3. Massage the affected areas with slow, circular movements.

3. As an oil for better sleep

1. Mix 1 drop of vetiver with 1 tsp of lavender or apricot kernel oil;
2. Apply to the inside of your wrists, temples or neck;
3. Inhale the aroma deeply before going to bed.
