What does Oregano Essential oil help with?

Oregano ( Origanum vulgare ) is a Mediterranean herb with small leaves and a rich, slightly spicy aroma. In folk medicine, it is known for its powerful antimicrobial action and rich content of carvacrol - a compound with pronounced antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties.

Oregano Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the herb and can be used as a:

• Topical remedy for acne and skin imperfections - Inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi, reduces inflammation and helps clear pores;
• Scalp lotion for dandruff and itching - Regulates the microflora of the scalp, limits the development of fungi that cause dandruff;
• Soothing serum for inflamed skin or rashes - Relieves redness, itching and helps restore irritated skin;
• Oil for nails prone to fungus - Keeps the nails clean and healthy, especially with fungal infections.

How do i use Oregano Essential oil?

1. As a topical remedy for acne and skin imperfections

1. Mix 1 drop of oregano oil with 1 tsp jojoba or macadamia oil;
2. Dip a cotton swab or cotton ball into the mixture;
3. Apply directly to problem areas once daily, in the evening.

2. As a scalp lotion for dandruff and itching

1. Mix 3 drops of oregano oil with 1 tablespoon of a base oil ( e.g. castor oil );
2. Massage gently into the roots and scalp;
3. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes, then wash with a mild shampoo.

3. As a soothing serum for inflamed skin or rashes

1. Mix 1 drop of oregano oil with 1 tsp of calendula or almond oil;
2. Mix well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained;
3. Apply to affected areas 1-2 times daily.

4. As an oil for nails prone to fungus

1. Mix 1 drop of oregano oil with 2 drops of olive oil;
2. Dip a cotton swab into the mixture;
3. Apply to the affected nail 1-2 times daily.
