What does Hyssop Essential oil help with?

Hyssop ( Hyssopus officinalis ) is an aromatic herb known for centuries for its antiseptic and soothing effects on the skin. Hyssop essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops and contains active compounds that help heal the skin and maintain its balance.

Hyssop Essential oil can be used as a:

• Lotion for skin prone to irritation or imperfections - The oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that help with rashes, small wounds, acne and redness;
• Tonic for oily and impure skin - Shrinks pores and regulates oiliness without drying;
• Stimulating scalp oil - Promotes blood circulation and heals the scalp in case of dandruff, irritation or itching;
• Balm for cracked skin or after insect bites - Soothes itching and promotes recovery.

How do i use Hyssop Essential oil?

1. As a lotion for skin prone to irritation or imperfections

1. Mix 1 drop of hyssop essential oil with 1 teaspoon of jojoba or almond oil;
2. Apply carefully to affected areas with clean fingers;
3. Use in the evening on cleansed skin.

2. As a tonic for oily and impure skin

1. In 100 ml of floral water ( e.g. lavender ) add 3-5 drops of hyssop essential oil;
2. Shake well before each use;
3. Apply with a cotton pad to your face in the morning and evening.

3. As a stimulating scalp oil

1. Mix 2 drops of hyssop oil with 1 tablespoon of burdock oil or castor oil;
2. Rub into your hair roots with massage movements;
3. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash your hair with shampoo.

4. As a balm for cracked skin or after insect bites

1. In 10 ml of neutral cream or ointment, add 1 drop of hyssop oil;
2. Mix well until smooth;
3. Apply to affected areas 1-2 times daily.
