What does Lavender Essential oil help with?
Lavender ( Lavandula angustifolia ) is an aromatic perennial with violet flowers, known for its calming and purifying effects. It has been used in traditional skin care for centuries for its antiseptic and balancing properties.
Lavender Essential oil, extracted from the leaves of the plant, can be used as a:
- Oil for scar and minor wound regeneration - Promotes tissue regeneration and reduces the risk of scar formation;
- Additive to body cream or hand balm - Keeps the skin smooth and supple, reducing dryness and tendency to crack;
- Oil compress for muscle tension - Relaxes tense areas and soothes inflammation during exertion or cramps;
- Soothing balm for chapped lips - Hydrates delicate skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect on chapped or irritated lips;
- Oil for cracked heels and rough skin - Helps soften rough areas and accelerates recovery;
- Mouthwash additive ( very slightly diluted ) - Freshens the breath, limits the growth of bacteria and supports gum health;

How do i use Lavender Essential oil?
1. As an oil for scar and minor wound regeneration
- Mix 1 drop of essential oil with 1 tsp. carrier oil ( e.g. jojoba or shea );
- Apply gently to the affected area;
- Repeat 2 times daily until complete recovery.
2. As an addition to body cream or hand balm
- Add 2-3 drops of essential oil to 50 ml of your favorite cream;
- Stir well until evenly distributed;
- Apply daily to dry areas.
3. As an oil compress for muscle tension
- Combine 3 drops of essential oil with 1 tbsp. carrier oil;
- Apply to the muscle area and cover with a warm compress;
- Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, without rinsing.
4. As a soothing balm for chapped lips
- Mix 1 drop of oil with 1 tsp. coconut or beeswax;
- Apply to your lips with a clean finger;
- Use as needed, especially during cold months.
5. As an oil for cracked heels and rough skin
- Mix 3 drops of oil with 1 tbsp. shea or cocoa butter;
- Massage generously into the heel area;
- Put on cotton socks and leave overnight.
6. As an additive to mouthwash ( very slightly diluted )
- Add 1 drop of oil to 100 ml of lukewarm water;
- Stir well;
- Gargle 1-2 times daily, without swallowing.
7. As a nourishing additive in a night cream
- Add 1 drop of oil to a dose of your favorite cream;
- Apply in the evening on well-cleansed skin;
- Massage gently until completely absorbed.
