What does Lime Essential oil help with?

Lime ( Citrus aurantifolia ) is a fresh citrus fruit from which, by cold pressing the peel, an essential oil with a bright, fruity-sour aroma is obtained. It is rich in antioxidants and natural acids that tone, cleanse and refresh the skin.

Lime Essential oil can be used as a:

• Cleansing toner for oily and acne-prone skin - Helps shrink pores, reduces oiliness and limits bacteria;
• Additive to a mask for a fresher complexion - Evens out the complexion and refreshes tired skin;
• Water rinse for oily scalp and dandruff - Regulates sebum and refreshes the scalp;
• Anti-pimple serum - Dries up inflammation and limits the development of bacteria.

How do i use Lime Essential oil?

1. As a cleansing toner for oily and acne-prone skin

1. Mix 100 ml of floral water ( e.g. witch hazel or rose ) with 5 drops of lime essential oil;
2. Shake well before each use;
3. Apply with a cotton pad in the morning and evening, avoiding the eye area.

2. As an addition to a mask for a fresher complexion

1. Mix 1 tsp green clay with a little water or floral water to form a paste;
2. Add 2 drops of lime essential oil;
3. Apply to your face for 10 minutes, without letting it dry completely, then rinse.

3. As a water rinse for oily scalp and dandruff

1. In 200 ml of water add 5 drops of lime oil and 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar;
2. Use as a final rinse after washing your hair;
3. Do not rinse again. Use 1-2 times a week.

4. As an anti-pimple serum

1. Mix 1 tsp jojoba oil with 1 drop of lime oil;
2. Apply directly to the pimple using a cotton swab, only at night;
3. In the morning, rinse and apply sunscreen.
